Velázquez was born from the idea of recovering an emblematic building in Madrid, a palace house from the beginning of the 20th century located in one of the most significant areas of the city, in the heart of Salamanca district, on the corner of Jorge Juan and Velazquez streets.
It is a building marked by its high level of protection, its dome, its brick façade with large glass galleries and its interior patios, which make the building full of light.
The initial concept with which the building was born is recovered. It returns to the stately residential use with which it was designed, adapted to our times, restoring the elements that define it and give it its character, its molding, floors, carpentry and, most importantly, its original spatial concept. A design as a whole that makes ir a reference building in Madrid.
